Multi-function Calibrators

A modular calibrator offers versatility that many other measurement tools may lack. An advanced modular calibrator can serve different functions measuring electrical, frequency, pressure and temperature. Calibration technologies range from portable calibrators with internal pumps, pneumatic and hydraulic hand pumps, pressure generators and deadweight testers. Portable pressure calibrators are ideal for the field and feature an internal pump to generate the necessary pressure to calibrate your gauges or transmitters. To calibrate wider ranges of pressure (absolute, vacuum, high-pressure), external modules are available up to 10,000 psi. Modules are brand specific, so to achieve the most accurate pressure calibrations, make sure the module brand matches the calibrator brand. Another method of calibration is with a hand pump. Pneumatic pumps normally achieve up to 600 psi by squeezing the pump. To achieve high pressures up to 10,000 psi, select a hydraulic hand pump. Pressure generators can be self-contained or connect directly to an existing air supply.
