Probes - Leads

If you have the multimeter or current tester, you need test meter leads to connect to the line and take readings. Look to Davis Instruments for a comprehensive selection of multimeter test leads, test lead wire, current clamps, current probes, and others. We offer all your favorite brands: Fluke test leads, Extech, AEMC Instruments, Amprobe, Simpson, and others. Choose individual universal test meter leads, probes and alligator clips to mate to your meter or buy complete multimeter test lead kits. Current clamps are available for use with DMMs, oscilloscopes, and power quality analyzers. To select the proper test meter leads or current clamp, match the current measurement range, output signal, and connect to your meter. Test meter lead line connection options include standard alligator clips, insulated test leads, and industrial test probes. Most multimeter test leads or current clamps are rated to 1000 V to 1500 V and measure AC power lines. While the test meter leads are often designed for 10 A maximum, the current clamp is available for higher amperage (i.e. up to 200, 400, or even 2000 A).
