    • Q:

Is this cutter mountable? If so what are the sizes of the holes (so I can purchase screws for mounting)? Lastly, is the cutter normally open or closed?

        A:

This cutter is not designed to be mounted. The resting position on this cutter is normally open or extended.

    • Q:

Is the frame of the cutter aluminum or plastic? Does the spring hold the cutter open or closed?

        A:

The frame is plastic and resting position is open - so the spring holds the cutter open.

      • A:

I ordered two cutters and was disappointed. The frame is plastic with a rounded front flange with no mounting holes, not like the photograph - square with mounting holes.

The spring holds the unit normally closed, not open - also different than the photograph.

This unit has been cost reduced and is no longer a "benchtop unit"- It's a hand held plastic unit. The photograph needs to be updated.

    • Q:

Can you tell me the physical dimensions of this cutter? I am hoping the length is about 3.5 - 4 inches.

      Thanks,
