The main difference between the IV and V tubing product lines is the temperature. The Bev-A-Line V tubing withstands higher temperatures (-60 to 200 deg. F) and the Bev-A-Line IV tubing has a temperature range of -30 to 160 deg. F. The Bev-A-Line V tubing can be sterilized by autoclave, ethylene oxide, or dry heat. The Bev-A-Line IV tubing can be sterilized by ethylene oxide or dry heat.

    Comments about Bev-A-Line B-19 IV Tubing, 3/8"ID x 1/2"OD, 50 ft/pack:

We use Bev A Line because we need a CO2-impermeable tubing; otherwise I prefer Tygon flexible tubing for use in the field. (The smaller diameter Bev A Line does not kink like the larger diameters.)
