    The console displays and records your station's weather data, provides graph and alarm functions, and interfaces to a computer using our optional WeatherLink® software.

    Cabled Systems A cabled Vantage Pro2 station transmits outside sensor data from the Integrated Sensor Suite (ISS) to the console using a straight-through four-conductor cable.

    Wireless Systems A wireless Vantage Pro2 station transmits outside sensor data from the ISS to the console via a low-power radio.

      I was recently given a Vantage Pro 2 by a friend that moved. Is a manual for the ISS available? The ISS is missing a battery so I need to know the battery type before I can use the system.

      I would also be interested in the Window 10 software.

        A:

        The Vantage Pro 2 uses a 3 Volt lithium battery.
        I will send the manual in a separate email.
        The Weatherlink software is our item number 86403-54. There is also the Weatherlink IP that allows you to upload data to the internet and your phone, item number 99800-65.

        A:

        You may use more than one console (86403-62) to receive transmission from one ISS. The new console just needs to be set to the same channel as the other. If your new console does not receive the signal from the ISS well, you can try using the original console as a signal repeater.

        The Vantage Vue, Wireless Vantage Pro2, and Wireless Vantage Pro2 Plus are capable of accepting transmissions from an additional display console. The cabled versions of these systems are will not accept transmissions from additional display consoles.

      At present, I own, and have used for many years, a Vantage Pro wireless system. The display is beginning to dim dramatically. Unless there is a replacement backlight bulb, I guess I'll want to replace the display. Is the Vantage Pro 2 display compatible with the solar sensor package I've been using that was part of the Vantage Pro system?

        Theo original Vantage Pro operates in the 868MHz band; all current wireless systems are in the 900MHz band and thus are not compatible. Your best move, other than replacing the entire system, is to call the service center at 510-732-7814 to discuss your repair options.

        Clearing Alarm Settings
        1. Press ALARM to enter alarm mode.
        The ALARM and HIGHS icons appear.
        2. Select the alarm setting you wish to clear.
        3. Press 2ND, then press and hold CLEAR until the setting changes to all
        dashes.
        You have cleared the alarm setting.
        4. Press DONE to exit Alarm Mode.

        To clear all possible weather variables from memory, press WIND, then press 2ND and press and hold CLEAR for at least 6 seconds. Release CLEAR when "CLEARING NOW' displays at the screen bottom.
