20 feet, 32 feet if you are interested in an airdrome. This is for the Anemometer. The main unit should be mounted 2 feet above your normal snow fall height.

We recommend the unit be mounted at least three feet above either the ground, roof, or nearest structure.

Comments about Davis Instruments Weather Station Mounting Pole Kit, 37.5"L:

It's a pole: it does what it's supposed to do and fits the Vue precisely and solidly. Being in two parts, it comes in a manageable package, raises it up to a still reachable height, allows the bottom section to be bolted to the anchor point, and the top section to the Vue and then drop the one onto the other so you are not wrestling an unwieldy, top-heavy, four foot club. Basically, it makes installation a one person task.
