Is this a good Thermometer to track my oven temperature from outside the oven?

    • STAFF EXPERT

      A:

The probe's temperature range is -58 to 158 F (-50 to 70 C) which is more appropriate for a refrigerator, water bath, or incubator.

  • Q:

This would work for us, except it needs to be 15 & 25 feet long. Can we splice the cable to reach our desired length and still work within an accuracy of 2-3 degrees?
Asked on 6/30/2015 by Chris from United States

    1 answer

    • STAFF EXPERT

      A:

There is no option for longer cables for this product; splicing would not work.

Our company is looking for a thermometer that would be ideal for monitoring cabin temperature in an ambulance and helicopter setting. Would this thermometer montior these temperatures without the probe?

No, this needs the probe to read temperatures. Please look at 90080-10 which does not have a probe.
