    Is the K-type FEP-insulated thermocouple probe with PTFE coated junction probe suitable for measuring the temperature of hot (~100degC) concentrated sulfuric acid solution?

      Yes, the FEP and PTFE are chemically resistant to sulfuric, and should be fine even at increased temperatures (as long as they are within the overall temperature range of the probe).

    Would this probe be safe (food wise) to submerge in a grain/water mixture at temperatures ranging from 145-212 degrees for up to 90 minutes or longer?

      This probe is good for long term immersion. The FEP coating is an FDA approved material for food contact.
      If 145 to 212 degrees F, yes that is fine. If you would be working in degrees C, please do not use this probe above 204 C.
