  • Q:

Can i set the low temp at 60 degrees and the high temp at 80 degrees on the TA22
    Asked on 1/14/2011 by Anonymous

This is a single set point temperature alarm. It can be set at either the 60 or 80. It can not be set for both though.

Can this device be programed to dial out in case there is an alarm.
Asked on 11/16/2010 by wsiman from Waterbury, CT

This unit does not have the capability to dial out if the alarm is triggered. It does have the connections to be connected to a dial out device though.

Asked on 12/10/2009 by Stan from Saipan

There isn't a specific matching remote alarm panel for use with the unit. The device can be connected to any remote alarm via the relay contacts provided beneath the switch cover.

Comments about Supco TA22 Digital Display Single Set Temperature Alarm:

The product had a bad connection at the NO relay contact. This circuit would not close as needed for my application to work. I found a bad connection and had to resoldered the NO pin on the screw down connector to fix the problem.

For application where the relay switching is used but not the alarm, there should be a way to disable it. I had to make this modification to achieve my design objectives.

The device has been working very well.
