  • Q:

I need a pump to transfer Toulene
    Can you recommend one
Asked on 3/4/2016 by Regi from Hartford MI

    1 answer

This pump is made of polypropylene and HDPE, neither of which should be used with Toluene. Item 06510-05 is made of Ryton PPS and stainless steel and has a max flow of 6 GPM. Ryton PPS and SS both have an excellent rating with Toulene.

Would this dispensing pump be used to dispense solvents like acetone, ethanol, methanol, diethyl ether, petroleum ether and ethyl acetate?

No, not all components are chemically compatible with those chemicals. Please contact our technical application specialists for additional assistance (contact information can be found on the product web page).
