    • Q:

Item 17002-20 (NIST TRACEABLE CERTIFICATE)for Datalogger (Item# 23033-80): How many temperature data points are used to calibrate the Datalogger (Item# 23033-80) and what are they (temperature data points)?. Thank you.
Asked on 11/23/2010 by Anonymous from Kitchener, ON

      1 answer

There are three temperature data points across the range of the datalogger used for calibration. If there are specific points that you would like to have them calibrated to, please indicate these at the time of the order.

    • Q:

How long is the NIST calibration valid? Our company is looking for calibration/maintenance free devices, to be used for 2 to 5 years on refrigerated shipments and then discard and replace with new devices.
Asked on 10/22/2010 by Sanda from The Netherlands

      1 answer

NIST-traceable calibrations are generally good for 1 year from the date of calibration. However, many industries/companies have different specifications; some require re-calibration every 6 months, others every couple of years.

Answered on 10/25/2010 by Josh from Technical Support
    • Q:

If I purchase the NIST calibration will it be automatically performed on the datalogger I purchase?
      Asked on 10/15/2010 by Anonymous

      1 answer

You would have to purchase both items(calibration cert and datalogger) at the same time and if there are multiple items note which item(s) you would like to have calibrated.
