Type I safety cans feature a single spout for filling and dispensing. Spring-mounted caps are designed with a relief mechanism to vent pressure when it reaches 5 psig—protects against dangerous pressure build-up. A 3-1/2" long stainless steel flame arrester prevents flashback ignition, reducing fire risk. Optional "stay-on" polypropylene funnel fits Type I steel cans.
