      A:

Cole-Parmer item numbers consist of a 5 digit number followed by a dash and two digits. The part number is preceded by a one or two letter publication code. The publication code is unique to a particular catalog or brochure. If an item is viewed on our website, in a catalog or brochure, the publication code letter(s) preceding the item number will be different. The numerical portion of the item number will not change.
