  • NIST-traceable calibration allows you to confirm that the specific asset you purchase does in fact meet the manufacturer’s published specification EPA, USDA, ISO and GLP/GMPs standards require regular NIST-Traceable calibration of all test equipment being used in critical applications
  • Receive your product calibrated and ready to use rather than sending it to a third-party or internal calibration lab and incurring additional delays

  • For Thermistors only
  • Calibration report is for both the meter and probe
  • Calibration of the meter and probe is preferred over calibrating the meter and probe separately
Regardless of the type of thermometry probe your application requires, InnoCal can ensure the accuracy of your meter, probe, or system!

All measurements reported are traceable to SI units via national standards maintained by NIST and performed in compliance with ANSI Z540, ISO17025 and MIL-STD-45662A. See the sample certificate under the “More Info” section to see how InnoCal’s certificates provide more information in a concise manner than the rest of the industry.

InnoCal is accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) under certificate number 1746.01. This accreditation is your assurance that the calibration is performed in a qualified, controlled laboratory which is technically proficient and committed to quality and customer-focused continuous improvement. Our scope of A2LA accreditation can be found under the “More Info” section.

Calibrations on temperature systems (meter and probe) are performed using direct comparison in high-stability liquid using high-precision and SPRT’s and displays. Measurements can be performed at four points between -197C and 1300C. Points are generally selected at standard ITS-90 points across the range of the probe but customer-specified points can be accommodated. Calibrating the probe and meter together produces the highest accuracies. .InnoCal's Metrology Laboratory is accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA); certificate number 1746.01. This accreditation is your assurance that one of the foremost outside auditing agencies approves of our internal laboratory policies and procedures.

  • Q:

I am looking at the NIST-Traceable calibration certificate and I don't see the accredited logo (A2LA), yet the literature states that InnoCal is accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 (which I am required to obtain). Is this an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration?

  • Q:

Can you perform the calibration at lower temperatures, perhaps down to -30 or -40 deg C? We routinely use the thermistors at these temps and would like to verify that they are accurate in this range.

      A:

We can do temperature calibrations down to LN2 at about -197C, alcohol/dry ice at about -80C, and on up from there continuously. Standard points would include -40 and 0C, though you could request any intermediary points you chose.

  • Q:

Is this service only for the Thermistor Thermometer unit, or does it also include the probe that I purchase with the unit ?
Are some thermistor probes NOT NIST-Traceable calibration capable ?

      A:

This part number represents the calibration service for a thermistor thermometer and the compatible probe. Calibration not to NIST standards would mean, to me, that the meter is field calibratable and not dependent upon the probe. Please call or email for further assistance.

Comments about InnoCal NIST-Traceable Calibration; Thermistor Thermometer System:

The only issue I had was the probe was broken when we received it back. Scott was reasonable in solving the issue. However, this thermometer is critical to our QC processes. The time/money that was spent impacted our operations. Someone should make sure that these instruments are packed properly because they are when they leave here!

Comments about InnoCal NIST-Traceable Calibration; Thermistor Thermometer System:

We use this piece of equipment in a water bath in our lab. We require precise temperatures to test a variety of materials at critical thaw times with our viscometers. The only problem is the durability of the temperature probe. It tends to separate from the rubber holder.
