    Opto 22 offers a complete line of solid-state relays (SSRs), from the rugged 120/240-volt AC Series to the small-footprint MP Series, designed for mounting on printed circuit boards. All Opto 22 relays feature 4,000 volts optical isolation and are UL and CSA recognized. The innovative use of room temperature liquid epoxy encapsulation, coupled with Opto 22’s unique heat-spreader technology, are key to mass-producing the world’s most reliable solid-state relays. Every Opto 22 SSR is subjected to full load test and six times the rated current surge before and after encapsulation. This double testing of every part before it leaves the factory means you can rely on Opto 22 solid-state relays. All Opto 22 SSRs are guaranteed for life.

    Power Series Relays
    Opto 22 provides a full range of Power Series relays with a wide variety of voltage and current options. All Power Series SSRs provide 4000 VRMS of optical isolation and provide a wide operating temperature range of –40°C to +100°C. Part numbers with a D are TTL compatible, with a 3-32 VDC control voltage. Part numbers with an A use an 85-280 VAC control voltage.

    DC Switching Series
    The DC Series delivers isolated DC control to large OEM customers worldwide. DC Power Series SSRs switch DC voltages between 5–60 volts. They have nominal current ratings of 3 and 5 amps.

    AC Switching Series
    The AC Series offers the ultimate in solid-state reliability. AC Power Series SSRs switch voltages between 120 and 575 VAC with nominal current ratings from 3 to 45 amps. All AC Power Series SSRs feature a built-in snubber and a maximum zero voltage turn-on time of 1/2 cycle. All models are UL recognized and CSA certified. Relays with a -12 extension on the part number are transient proof.
