Operator interfaces are control units that enable you to control your PLC from the screen, either using a small control panel with character displays or the touch screen on the larger units. All the operator interfaces come with software that enable you to easily control you system.

Models with LCD
Character displays are available in two-, four- and eight-line LCDs. Models 65523-20 and -22 have a 16-character, two-line backlit LCD and six function keys. Models 65523-24 and -26 have a 20-character, four-line backlit LCD, eight function keys, and a numeric keypad. Model 65523-28 has a 20-character, eight-line backlit LCD, eight function keys, and a numeric keypad. Models 65523-20 and -24 do not require an external power supply; they draw power from the PLC port. Models 65523-22, -26, and -28 require 24 VDC and support RS-232 or RS-485 communications. These interfaces are compatible with all major PLC manufacturers. Character displays are IP65 and rated UL1604 for hazardous locations.
Units can configure up to 100 pages of operational control and have 127 KB of memory. Display capabilities include bitmap, bar graph indicators, a library of images and graphics. Windows®-based software 65523-32 is required to easily program all character displays. The function keys are userdefinable and can have different functions depending on the active screen. Drivers are available to connect to non-IDEC PLCs. Order software and communication cables separately below.

Models with touch screen display
Touch screens offer a perfect solution for your display needs. Crisp images, combined with configuration tools, allow you to easily create a user-friendly and powerful system. All touch
screens use 24 VDC and have communications ports. Touch screens are rated UL1604 for hazardous locations, NEMA 4X, and IP65. All touch screens require software 65523-18; order software and communication cables separately below.
