  • Dual channels, with separate and independent temperature measurement
  • Probe wires are 6 feet in length
  • Low-battery indication when replacement is necessary
This highly accurate dual channels instrument is designed for monitoring two separate and independent temperatures, ideal for use with temperature-critical materials. The thermometer has a weather resistant housing for indoor or outdoor use. Suitable for a variety of industrial and institutional applications, including manufacturing, food service (food storage), home and office. The thermometer displays temperature from each sensor probe in °C or °F, times (24 hour format only), and the status of each alarm event records. Each probe may be programmed with high and low limit alarms. The thermometer will capture in memory up to 60 alarm breeches per probe including time and duration of each breech. Alarm breeches will be retained in memory even if the battery dies. All operational fuctions can be password protected. The unit does not have an ON/OFF power button and is continually active once the batteries have been installed but unit does have an LCD idle function to preserve battery life.

Does this device have capability to record temperature data on both channels simultaneously? I want to compare the temperature of two readings over long periods of time.
Asked on 7/18/2013 by Logan from Cleveland, OH

This product will only record the times when high or low alarm setpoints are breached. You need a two channel data logging thermometer, such as part number: 95001-07.

  • Q:

Can the probes be adapted to a metal surface, e.g. a 2.25 in. dia. pipe?
Asked on 12/28/2011 by Larry from Long Beach, CA

    1 answer

    • STAFF EXPERT

      A:

Whether running water, steam or hot air is running through the empty pipe, the ambient temperature of the pipe will be displayed. The probe can be attached to the pipe using a clamp or duct tape. The first 7/8 inch portion gives the temperature, so the collected ambient temperature of the pipe and the duct tape or clamp would be displayed.
