  • Q:

what is the power consuming for the TS2-01O itself?

Not the output contact, only for TS2-010 (110V) itself.

    Thanks

  • Q:

I purchased this in the 110V configuration. There is no power cord. Is this intentional? If so, which power cord should I purchase for use with this unit?

      A:

This panel meter does not come with a power cord. It is designed to be wired into a panel by a qualified electrician. The manual has a basic wiring diagram on the first page, showing the power supply should be wired into screw terminal positions 7 and 8. If you are not familiar with wiring, we recommend contacting a local electrician for assistance. They can also install outlet plugs, if that is best for you.

  • Q:

DO YOU CARRY MOUNTING BRACKETS OR HOUSINGS FOR THIS PRODUCT?
    Asked on 4/16/2011 by Anonymous

    1 answer

    • STAFF EXPERT

      A:

A hole measuring 71 x 29 mm must be cut in the panel where the thermostat is to be fitted (apply silicone to make it leaktight). Then, the fixing cups must be fitted, sliding them onto the thermostat until secure. Do not force tightening of the screw if the U-brackets are used. The connections must be covered with the rear cover for this. No extra brackets are required.

  • Q:

Does the device that is being controlled (submerssible heater in my case) plug in to the back of this unit? My device is a 110V with a normal plug.
Asked on 9/27/2010 by Michael from MA

    1 answer

    • STAFF EXPERT

      A:

No, this device doe not have a standard U.S. plug receptacle on it. This unit only has ports for bare/stripped wires to connect. You would have to cut the plug off your device and attach the bare wires to the controller.

We do carry units with the receptacles. item 89810-00 would work though it is much larger in size to accommodate the receptacle.

It was exactly what I expected from the description, great price for a on/off temperature readout/controller. No bells and whistles that I do not need.

Easy to install, clean looking, works great and a wide range of features. I use it to control my deep freezer for home brewing beer. It works great and has the added benefit of locking the setup screen in case you have pranking friends (or kids who like to push buttons).

I am using this product for a temperature control for my freezer. I like that it is easy to set a control temperature and the accuracy of the temperature probe. The only thing I don't like about it is it is a little confusing trying to wire it to the power cords.
