  • Q:

How do I connect this unit to a Eutech 190 Series controller?
Asked on 2/10/2010 by Ken Heaton from Cementon, NY

    1 answer

This unit has an external channel, wires would connect the output of the 190 to the input of this datalogger.

I am looking for a Current Data Logger which will be able to monitor and record the amps on a 220Vac line with a maximum of 100 amps. Can this device work in this application

We offer the 20005-89 datalogging Clamp-on meter. It can auto sample readings and will store up to 5400 points. The unit can measure up to 1000 Ampers. The 20008-81 PC itnerface is also required for use with a computer. (interval selectable between 50 ms and 480 sec)

Comments about Lascar Electronics EL-USB-4 USB Current Data Logger, Process, 32,000+ readings, 1 year battery life:

This unit has replaced an inaccurate and unreliable chart recorder used to log pH data (4-20ma signal) for self-monitoring with our local pollution control agency. I was able to easily scale the unit to read out directly in pH. Once every two weeks I unplug it (without breaking the ma loop!), download 15K data points, print a graph, reset the unit and replace it in about 2 minutes flat. It is simple, very useful and inexpensive. The software works well, the graphing is decent and the CSV output will download to EXCEL if needed.
It would be nice if it had just a little more memory and a wider range of choices for sample rates in the <1 minute range. Other than that it is a great unit that I keep finding new uses for! Definitely worth the money and more.
